Beware of the dangerous Laser Printer!
Do you know that laser printer is dangerous to health? A study emerging from Australian scientists indicates that the laser printers in workplace are as harmful for lung as cigarette smoke. Emissions from some models show that 1/3 out of 60 laser printers release particles from toner. The scientists from Queensland University of Technology, moreover, request the government to liberate a bill to seriously control the toner particle emission from the laser printers. They also suggest that certain types of laser printers should provide health labels to warn users. Due to tiny particles from toner, the laser printers can cause respiratory problem and sink to the lung. This test was done in open office and found to be five times higher during working hours from using the laser printers. The condition, besides, will be more severe when the laser printers are printing graphics or images and new cartridge is changed.
